Im planning on getting this. I already do my arms and legs with pre made wax strips but they are expensive so in the long run a wax machine like this will be better for me
going to do level 2 diploma part time in September. is the part time diploma the same as full time? Needs to be part time as UC is my safety net. Beauty therapy and Reiki. I needed something more well known to offer and already have a massage table. Good career too.
Whats the difference between hard and soft wax..can you use this on bikini area.

Hi , first of all thank you so much for all your videos, I got a question, I have not done any beauty courses in the Uk but I used to work as a beauty therapy back home, this week I got college interview for beauty therapy level 3 so I will be assessed.I am a bit nervous because I have no idea what kind of question they might ask me!
does your wax warmer make clicking sounds when heating, because mine does and they coming from inside the heater not the wax itself does it.

Once your done with the wax, do you just store it in a cool area?
Yes, I keep mine in a cupboard with my other beauty suppliers out of direct sunlight and away from any heat source 😊
Can you use cream rose wax for Brazilian??
Yes, you can use cream wax for sensitive areas but I would recommend trying a small area of skin first to see how you feel pain wise 🙂

I have a question because I got one and when I mix it the pot moves is it ok if I remove it and use the bottom because it keeps moving and it has like a nail inside it....

Could you wear what you wanted to the college or did you have to wear a certain uniform xx
I have to wear a uniform during treatments/practical lessons but during theory lessons you can wear what you want :)) xxx
We had to wear uniform every lesson. We did theory in the morning and practical/commercial salon in the afternoon/evening. You're not allowed ro do assessments or treatments without correct uniform. Hope that helps 🙂 x

What should I do if I want to take this course as I want to do the nails and the rest of the stuff but I also want to mainly do make up is this a go course for me ?
I think this course is good as it covers all bases. Then afterwards (or during) you can do other courses in what you want to specialised in. For example after this course I went on to do acrylic extensions, gel nails and a make up artist course x

@@caitlindavison7533 I did my nail and make up courses through different companies, not at college. Salon Services do a lot courses which is worth checking if you have a training site near you x

I'll have a little look through later x Did you find it easy to get a job after the course? I just turned 33 yesterday and i worry being a little older and just qualifying may reflect bad. They expect you to be at a certain look level by a certain age. Or did you not find that? X

can you wear makeup to the course?
I wore make up when I first started the course then choose not to towards the end as we were doing facial treatments everyday so had to remove it before the treatments if I was being worked on x

Great video. I was looking at this model. There was 3 wax options, a tea tree, Rose and Honey. Which woukd you recommend for sensitive skin.
It would depend on your skin type and how your skin reacts to wax. Rose is good for soothing redness, tea tree is good if you get ingrown hairs and honey helps protect the skin after wax. So all should be suitable for sensitive skin but if you're not sure on how your skin will react maybe try Rose first? Hope that helps 🙂 amzn.to/3fF9s7g

I shouldn't think so, but have a chat with the enrollment team at the college you'll be studying at and they will be able to advise:)

Level 1 is great for beginners as it covers all the basics but I would chat with your college enrollment team they will advise and help you choose the right course for you :) good luck x

What temperature is a regular temp for waxing eyebrows, And do I keep the mylee tub inside or do I pour in the wax from the tub ?
You put the mylee tub inside the wax heater tin :) and it should take 25-30 mins to heat up on max heat! Once it does you can turn the heat down to medium and use it. Make sure to test the heat and consistency before you use it.

I'm so glad it helped 😀 Rose is soft wax so requires strips but the same brand also do hard wax beads you could try xx

You can do level 2 straight away (I did) if you have your GCSEs. I think level 1 is more an introduction to beauty and is good for those that are also studying for their Maths and English qualifications in college. Hope that helps? X
